The Statskiy Sovetnik is within walking distance of the Zvenigorodskaya underground station and Vitebsky Train Station, providing excellent access to all the Saint Petersburg attractions. Near to the hotel is the A. Bryantsev Youth Theatre (also called the Bryantsev Young Viewers Theatre), known for its performances for children, especially of fairy tales. Approx. 2.8 km/1.7 miles to the northeast of the Statskiy Sovetnik is the Hermitage, the vast art museum stretching along the Palace Embankment. To the north approx. 2.3 km/1.4 miles are the Mikhailovsky Palace housing the Russian Museum, the ornate Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, and Field of Mars park.
