Hotel Alpejski, Karpacz
Ogrodnicza 8, Karpacz, 58-540, Poland
Description
The Hotel Alpejski is a newly built hotel in Karpacz, a spa town and ski resort in the Karkonosze Mountains in southwestern Poland. This 4 star hotel offers accommodations in a great location for mountain hiking, skiing, and ski jumping. One of the highlights of staying at the Hotel Alpejski is dining at the restaurant. It’s known for its traditional Tyrolian decor, healthy international cuisine, and selection of fine wines. Drinks and desserts are served in the Fireplace Room in the winter and out on the terrace in the summertime. Live music is performed in the piano bar. In the hotel spa, guests can take a dip in the indoor pool with a waterfall and artificial waves; relax in the dry or wet sauna; be invigorated by Scottish showers; soak in the jacuzzi; or treat themselves to a massage by a professional masseur. The Hotel Alpejski is within walking distance of both the town centre of Karpacz and the ski lifts on the local ski slopes. Tennis courts are also nearby. One of the more unusual attractions in the town is a medieval stave church—a wooden church with a post and beam construction—that was moved here from Norway in the middle of the 19th century. The hotel offers excellent access to Karkonosze National Park (Karkonoski Park Narodowy in Polish) which, together with the neighbouring Czech Krkonoše National Park, has been designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Karpacz is approx. 127 km/79 miles from the city of Wrocław.
