Route Paris Orly - Washington Dulles
Fabrice de Gans-Riberi2 August 2011
“I am extremely disappointed by the service we got from OpenSkies. I had booked an Orly - Dulles flight which got cancelled due to a gas leak. At this point, I was annoyed but I perfectly understand these issues happen. We then got told that we would be on the next day flight or, at worse, on an extra flight they were adding on their schedule. We were then sent to a hotel and told we would be contacted either later in the evening or in the morning. The following day, with still no news from OpenSkies, some of us took the liberty to go directly to the airport to understand what was going on. We were received very rudely by the OpenSkies people who tried their best to make us cancel our ticket. The supposed extra flight actually never existed and they were still trying to sell tickets for the DC flight of the day for EUR 6000 while we had to wait!!!In the end, really pissed off, I went to the British Airways guy at Orly (BA is the parent company) who called the OpenSkies guys and told them to stop selling tickets for the NY flight and book us instead - DC flight was already gone. We then got taken in charge directly by BA at Newark who got us tickets to DC in the evening.OpenSkies does not care about their customers, only about maximizing profit, I am very disappointed especially coming from a BA brand, I am never flying with OpenSkies ever again and strongly discourage anyone to do so. They lied to us repeatedly, they told us there were no available seats on any other airline, they told us we would have priority on the following day flight, they told us we'd get on an extra flight. All of these were down right lies!”
