Jet2.com is a low cost airline, part of the Dart Group PLC. It operates commercial flights and, since 2001, both goods and passenger transport. Jet2.com became a low cost company in 2002 and started operations on 12 February 2003 from the Leeds Bradford airport with flights to Amsterdam. In the same year, it expanded its routes to 6 European destinations. In 2006 it moved its headquarters from Bournemouth to Leeds and begins to expand its operations into new routes and new airports in Europe. Currently its main bases are located at the airports of Belfast, Blackpool, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds/ Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle. Its frequent flyer program is myJet2.

“The airplane is inappropriate for a 7 hours flight (uncomfortable seats, nonadjustable seatbacks and low standards of comforts). The staff is rude, the toilette are unclean, and even if they offer the lowest prices, it does not worth it. There are also many glitches with 757, which are pretty old.”

“I have flown all over the world but have never experienced such poor customer service as I had with Jet2. My flight to and from Palma was delayed 7hrs out and 5hrs on the way back, none of the Jet2 staff or their handling agent where any help and wasn’t till they had all of us on the flight demanded a response did we get any answers…little too late and very poor. To top of it, on our late return my baggage was damaged and a lot of my clothes missing, I am still fighting with them for compensation with them trying to get out of it. I have written to them twice, phoned with no positive outcome to date…so be warned … I have since flown many times to Palma with BMI baby …far better company and a more professional and customer service approach …So Jet2 Never again Very poor airline”

“We don't know where to turn to gripe towards the ground services on Pisa, which made us lose the flight on july the 21 in 2009 (flight from Pisa to Manchester) - so we decided to send this e-mail... our names are Poli Enzo and Guidotti Leonardo - we arrived 2 minutes (2 minutes!!) after that the staff on the check in left - we arrived 39 minutes behind the taking-off time - we did the check in online and we had only to give them the luggages - we've been through many incidents on the toll road A1 and the FIPILI highway, despite that, we thought we were in time to leave - Instead a Jet2 employee that was working for the next flight to Leeds of the same company (Jet2) told us that since there were no one left in the check in, they decided to close it with some minutes in advance - So: we lost the flight. We couldn't find anyone that could help us . Thank you Jet2 - Thank you, Pisa airport staff.”
