Carpatair is a regional romanian airline founded in February 1999 under the name of "Veg Air". The company's headquarters is located in Ghiroda, Timis. Carpatair operates flights to several domestic and international destinations in Europe, with focus in the nations of Germany, Italy and Ukraine. Its two operating bases are located in the airports of Chisinau (KIV) and Traian Vuia (TSR) Timisoara, it is also the main technical basis. Carpatair’s fleet is made up of different types of aircraft: Fokker F70 72 seats, Fokker F100 105 and Saab 2000 50 seats. The company Frequent-flyer program is "Carpatair Green Club". Carpatair is owned by Romanian shareholders (51%) and Swiss and Swedish shareholders (49%).
