Craig and Aral Loken founded Alaska Seaplane Service, LLC on August 1, 1997. They initially worked together at Channel Flying. Alaska Seaplanes is an FAA Certified 401 Commuter Air Carrier. Alaska Seaplane also offer charter flights throughout Southeast Alaska, carry passengers, mail and cargo. As of March 31, 2011, founders Craig and Aral Loken sold their interests in the company to former Wings of Alaska managers Mike Stedman and Kent Craford.
