PAL Express, now operating under the name Airphil Express and formerly known as Air Philippines, is a low-cost Philippine airline. Its headquarters is located in Pasay City, Manila. Founded in February of 1995, Airphil Express operates both domestic and international flights in a wide network of destinations. The company was renamed several times, from Air Philippines to PAL Express at the current PAL Express. The main operating bases of the airline are the airports of Clark (CRK) in Angeles City, Mactan-Cebu (CEB) in Cebu City and Ninoy Aquino (MNL) in the capital Manila.

“My wife, I and son took a total of 10 flights with Airphilexpress during our 2 week holiday in April 2012.MNL> TCB X 3TCB> MNL X 3MNL> PPR X 2PPR> MNL X 29 .... yes NINE of the flight were delayed by between 1 and 2 hours. Only my flight to Tacloban (I flew seperately a week later) left and arrived on time, well 10 minutes late. Not once did they apologise. It's the worst airline I've ever travelled on.”
