“Really the only way around Madagascar if you are in a hurry. Sure the international flights are a bit funny, but the internal flights cannot be beaten for convenience without great expense (a private jet/helicopter). The planes in the fleet which fly to Paris are hilarious; the security video is unintelligible. The flights are not often full, which means there tends to be space to sprawl. I've even been bumped up to business before, simply because they felt like it. If you are looking for comfort or luxury, you had better charter your own planes; this a practical and convenient solution to the travelling issue in Madagascar. And my final point: whoever flew the plane that goes up to Diego from Tana is simply one of the best pilots I have ever flown with - landing sideways because of the incredible wind, and the whole thing was like butter, despite the unbelievable turbulence.I would say "I would fly with them again"... but you have no choice, if you are going to Madagascar, so will you!”
